Characters:

The Healer: Kallias Feluske (he/him)

One of the few magical healers in Lusna, by virtue of his descent from Loxias. Always willing to lend a hand, and quick to break into a smile. Although many people have heard of him, and many have been helped by his work, few would be able to say that they truly know him. The rumours that go around say that he's cursed, doomed to die young by the very thing that allows him to heal.

He has light brown skin and loosely curly dark brown hair that reaches his neck. Although he often ties it back for practicality, stray strands always manage to escape and frame his face. There's an overall softness to his features, and he has thick dark eyebrows, full lips most often in a smile, and a curved nose. His eyes are hooded and honey-brown in colour, and often betray what he's feeli
ng.

The Champion: Vel Katacinas (they/them)

Once the Champion of the God of the Moon, now a ghost with the ability to take on a corporeal form. They're not one for talking, and are generally disillusioned with the world, but you get the feeling that they care more than they let on. The weight of the past is a heavy burden to hold on to, and they see landscapes full of ghosts.

They have cool, fair skin with an iridescent sheen to it, and intense dark grey eyes. Their face is angular, with a strong jawline and straight nose, and they have a long, thin scar running along their jaw and curving down to their neck. Well-built and very tall. Though it is often tied up into a loose knot, their black hair is long and flowing, reaching about mid-back when down. Always seems to be wearing armo
ur.

The Mage: Aya Vestalis (she/they)

An incredibly talented mage who works alongside you at the Sanctum. They rose quickly through the ranks, and is known to be perfectionistic and ambitious, focused above all at their work. Whatever they have achieved never seems to be enough, their gaze fixed on the next goal, a hunger inside them for something that they can't name.

She has warm, deep brown skin and black, coily hair that she usually wears it in twists or long braids, changing the style relatively often. Quite short in height. She shows her emotions freely on her face, which is round with high cheekbones and a nose with a wide bridge. Her eyes are dark brown, and slightly upturned. She dresses in bright colours and fashionable styles, and is as meticulous about her appearance as she is about h
er magic.

The Priest: Nikolaus "Niko" Septimus Cassander (he/him)

A priest of Brumalis at the central temple, and also works on occasion for the Sanctum. Notorious for being in a near-perpetual state of grumpiness, but is respected for his straightforwardness and ability to focus on whatever task is at hand. Also renowned for unrepentantly ignoring any order that he thinks is stupid. Rumour has it that he comes from a notable provincial family, but he shuts down any conversation that strays in that direction.

Tall and wiry, with beige skin dotted with freckles. His gaze is analytical, as if constantly cataloguing what he sees, and his eyes are hazel with flecks of green. There's a bump in his nose as if once broken and poorly reset, and his face is defined by sharpness, with a well defined jaw and cheekbones. His hair is light brown, thick and wavy, and though it is short it is always
messy.

The Guard: Layla Artaha (she/her)

Quite possibly the most energetic person you know. Restless and optimistic, she works as a battle-mage and guard for the Sanctum, and always seems to be off on some job or another. Well-respected despite her notorious disorganisation and occasional recklessness. She's the first in the direct line of her family not to serve in the Royal Guard of the Anassa, a fact that she's open about, but never explains why, or what happened between her sister and herself to cause their well-known rift.

She has medium brown skin and shoulder-length, wavy dark brown hair that she wears in a braid. Her face is oval, with fine features, a round nose and almond-shaped eyes that are light brown in colour. More often than not she walks around with her sword in hand and armour on, but when not she prefers loose robes for ease of moveme
